Allen is Director of the Tax Group and the Special Services Group of Seber Tans. He supervises and provides client service in tax engagements and assurance service engagements. He advises corporations, partnerships, smaller businesses, and individuals on a wide range of tax and business planning issues, ownership succession, business valuations, business acquisitions, litigation support and other matters. He has experience serving clients in many industries, including contracting, manufacturing, real estate development, service providers, software development, not-for-profits, and others.
Allen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants – and its Business Valuation Section, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, the National Litigation Support Services Association (NLSSA), National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA), and the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA). He is a past president of the Southwest Chapter of the Michigan Association of CPAs, a charter member of Beta Alpha PSI at Western Michigan University and a recipient of the Outstanding Beta Alpha PSI Alumni of the Year Award. He is currently serving as
President on the board of the Kalamazoo Christian Schools Foundation and as Treasurer of NLSSA.
Allen received his Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and his Masters of Business Administration from Western Michigan University.
