Matt is Director of the Audit and Assurance Group for Seber Tans, and is Contract Manager for the U.S. General Services Administration. He supervises and provides client service in a variety of industry environments including construction, municipalities, townships, schools, not-for-profits, manufacturing, real estate partnerships, and bankruptcy trustee audits. He advises small businesses and individuals on a wide range of tax and business planning issues and ownership succession, as well as internal controls and forensic reviews. He has extensive experience in state and local income tax and state and local sales tax.
Matt is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. He is an alumni member of the Alpha Kappa PSI Professional Business Fraternity at Western Michigan University, past-President and Director of Interact of Kalamazoo, Inc., past Treasurer and Director of the Kalamazoo YMCA, Trustee of Kalamazoo YMCA, and Director of the Catholic Schools Foundation of Kalamazoo, Finance and Administrative Council of St. Monica Parish, and a participant with Big Brothers of Kalamazoo.
Matt received his Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Western Michigan University.
